St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantel

These two remarkable saints share the pinnacle moment when Salesian Spirituality took root with the 1610 foundation of the Order of the Visitation in Annecy, France. Francis wrote in the Book of Vows on the profession of the first three Visitation sisters: “We have no bond but the bond of love.” This sentiment is the hallmark of the Salesian Spirituality that is lived and shared by the members of The North American Salesian Network.
